While the federal government spends massive
amounts of tax dollars bailing out disfunctional
corporations and individuals who should be able
to work and take care of their own problems,
many components of our national infrastructure
are in a critical state of obsolescence or
disrepair. Highways, roads, bridges,
ports, and the national electrical grid are all
components which need attention, both for
national security, service and public safety.
Thousands of federal individual legislator "pork
projects", when combined, use federal dollars
that could have served a higher purpose.
If the federal government stopped spending
our tax revenue on causes it shouldn't be
involved in, there would be enough funding to
start fixing the infrastructure needs of
America. |
